AARO Is Founded
AARO replaced earlier task forces and covers objects in the air, space and sea. Physicist Sean Kirkpatrick was its first director until December 2023; Dr. Jon Kosloski became director in 2024. AARO publishes annual reports and runs a reporting form for current and former government employees.
