Britain's UFO Files & Project Condign
The UK Defence Intelligence Staff completed a study called Project Condign in 2000. Released in 2006, it found no evidence of intelligent craft and attributed many reports to natural atmospheric effects such as buoyant plasma. The Ministry of Defence closed its UFO desk in 2009 and transferred its files to the National Archives in batches through 2013.
