The Levelland Sightings

Catalog FG-027When November 2–3, 1957Where Levelland, Texas

Driver after driver reported a glowing egg that stalled their engines.

Over a few hours, several drivers around Levelland called police to report a bright, egg-shaped light that caused their headlights and engines to fail until it passed. It happened the same weekend the Soviets launched Sputnik 2, when the public was already watching the sky.
