The Grusch Hearing
David Grusch, a former Air Force and intelligence officer, told a House Oversight subcommittee that the U.S. has a decades-long program recovering craft of non-human origin, and that he had been told this by people with direct knowledge. Navy veterans David Fravor and Ryan Graves testified alongside him about pilot encounters.

What the record shows, what people say, and the best explanation available so far.
What's documented
- Grusch's sworn testimony and his complaint to the Inspector General.
- The hearing video is public.
What's claimed
- A secret crash-retrieval program and recovered bodies.
Best explanation so far
Grusch said his claims were based on interviews, not direct observation, and offered more detail only in closed sessions. AARO's 2024 review found no verifiable evidence of such a program. Supporters say AARO lacked access.
