NASA's UAP Study
NASA formed an independent study team led by astrophysicist David Spergel, held a public meeting on May 31, 2023, and released its report on September 14, 2023. It found no evidence of extraterrestrial origin, called for better calibrated data and less stigma, and recommended using satellites and crowdsourcing. NASA named a director of UAP research.
